Speaking Engagements

For SME Leaders Who Mean It

I speak once every two months. That’s it. I’m not here to entertain the crowd or ride the AI hype wave. I speak only to SMEs and investors who understand that lean thinking, automation, data, and technology aren’t trends – they’re the battlefield. If your organization treats transformation like a checklist instead of a survival strategy, I’m not your guy.

AI and LLMs? They’re tools. Useful, yes. Revolutionary? Sometimes. But they’re not the strategy. The strategy is fixing your business model before it breaks. That means command clarity. That means engineering discipline. That means building systems that outlive quarterly fads.

I speak to

  • SME boards who are serious about Mission Command, Lean operations, and data-driven decisions.

  • Investors who want more than a pitch – they want operational resilience behind the numbers.

  • Young people, pro bono – because if we don’t give them a shot at understanding how things work, we’re just recycling the same leadership mistakes.

So, What Does It Cost?

Here’s the pricing:

  • Entry-Level Talk (2 hours): 1500 USD net
A no-fluff overview. Strategy, context, and hard truths.

  • Mid-Level Session (4 hours): $2500 USD net
Now we’re digging into frameworks, resistance to change, and implementation challenges.

  • Full-Day Deep Dive (8 hours): 5000 USD net
Mid-Level Session + Expert Block. You get me, and if needed, one or more specialists from my network. We’re talking serious architecture, real examples from your industry and your ballpark size.

Why I Don’t Charge Less

Because if I did, I’d stop being a practitioner and start being a lecturer. 90% of my time is spent actually building systems – inside SMEs, across industries. That’s where the value is. Speaking isn’t my product. Transformation is.

These talks are meant to start something, not to pat anyone on the back. I’m not interested in becoming a training company. I implement, not recite PowerPoint decks.

Do I Ever Speak for Free?

Yes – but on my terms. Mostly for youth, education programs, or charity events where impact trumps influence. I publish weekly summaries, analysis, and how-tos for free – because knowledge should be accessible, but transformation? That’s earned.

If you want a speaker who will challenge assumptions, cut through the noise, and leave your team with direction, I’m interested. If you’re just looking to tick a box, I’ll kindly pass.

Entry-Level Topics

Designed to introduce key concepts to SMEs considering transformation through technology, leadership, and data.

Introducing Business Process Automation in Your Organization

Understanding what BPA is and how to get started.

  • What is Business Process Automation (BPA) and how does it differ from digitalization or outsourcing?

  • Common early use cases: invoicing, onboarding, reporting, inventory.

  • How long does it take to implement basic BPA? Timelines from weeks to months.

  • What are the cost factors? Tools, consulting, internal effort.

  • Simple tools that don’t require enterprise budgets (Zapier, Make, etc.)

  • How to identify low-risk areas for your first automation pilots.

Introducing Mission Command and Lean in Your Organization

A new way to lead, empower, and continuously improve.

  • What is Mission Command? What is Lean? Why combine them?

  • Origins in the military and Toyota – and why they work for SMEs.

  • The role of trust, intent-based leadership, and decentralization.

  • How to move from command-and-control to empowered teams.

  • How Lean helps reduce waste, increase learning cycles, and boost quality.

  • Small steps to get started: morning meetings, A3 thinking, value stream maps.

Introducing Machine Learning in Your Organization

De-mystifying ML and its relevance to SMEs.

  • What ML actually is (and what it’s not): from pattern recognition to predictions.

  • Realistic SME use cases: churn prediction, demand forecasting, classification.

  • What data you need to begin: quality vs quantity.

  • Time, skills, and cost considerations for small ML projects.

  • Off-the-shelf solutions vs custom ML pipelines.

  • First steps: spreadsheet + model + test – not building a full team.

Introducing Data-Driven Decision Making in Your Organization

Making decisions backed by facts, not just intuition.

  • What does it mean to be data-driven? What’s the difference from data-aware?

  • Data maturity levels in SMEs – where are you now?

  • Typical blockers: siloed systems, lack of trust in data, “gut feeling” culture.

  • The power of dashboards, KPIs, and simple metrics to create alignment.

  • Tools: Excel, Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Metabase.

  • How to build a basic data habit: weekly review rituals, simple reports.

Intended for SMEs that have begun their transformation journey and want to scale or deepen their efforts.

Implementing Business Process Automation in Your Organization

Going beyond basics and building a sustainable automation engine.

  • How to map and prioritize processes ripe for automation.

  • Process readiness checklist – not every chaos should be automated.

  • Dealing with staff resistance: education, involvement, co-design.

  • Choosing the right tools and platforms – when to go custom vs no-code.

  • Integration between systems: ERP, CRM, ticketing, databases.

  • How to measure ROI from automation: time saved, error rates, morale.

Implementing Mission Command and Lean in Your Organization

Moving from inspiration to practical, cultural transformation.

  • Designing intent-based team structures: role clarity + autonomy.

  • How to coach managers to become facilitators, not micromanagers.

  • Using Lean tools: Kanban boards, visual management, retrospectives.

  • Building feedback loops into operations.

  • Addressing cultural debt: undoing learned helplessness and blame culture.

  • How to scale lean across departments: Ops, Sales, Product, Finance.

Implementing Machine Learning in Your Organization

Building repeatable ML workflows and integrating into operations.

  • ML project lifecycle: from framing the problem to deployment.

  • How to hire or outsource ML expertise smartly.

  • Key considerations: explainability, fairness, feedback loops.

  • MLOps basics: data pipelines, monitoring, retraining.

  • Real-world examples from SMEs that scaled ML with modest budgets.

  • Ethical considerations and avoiding “automation harm.”

Implementing Data-Driven Decision Making in Your Organization

Making data central to your leadership and execution.

  • Data strategy: aligning business goals with metrics and sources.

  • Data governance and trust: ensuring your reports aren’t garbage-in-garbage-out.

  • Creating a single source of truth (SSOT).

  • From KPIs to OKRs: linking data to action.

  • Change management: building rituals around data use in decision-making.

  • Upskilling the team: data literacy as a core SME capability.
